Rebo Quay Walls

The project is part of the conversion of the port area between the Voorhaven and the Zeewezendok into the so-called Renewable Energy Base Ostend (REBO). The aim is to make the area, which is approximately 10 hectares in size, suitable for the acceptance, storage and assembly of heavy components for offshore installations. The present proposal includes the construction of two heavy-duty quays (200 m in the Voorhaven and 50 m in the Zeewezendok). The entire site will also be strengthened to allow heavy overloads.
